Fortunately, we were able to join the world of horses at a very young age, learning over many years the ins and outs of the horse world. Our horses have been the best of friends to us, serving as our greatest teachers, and forgiving us for our ignorance and impatience.

Through all the lessons, mistakes and triumphs, we have learned about this noble animal and even more about ourselves. We have been very fortunate to be in the company of truly capable horse people who also loved horses, With the help of these extraordinary mentors, and the accumulation of years of experience, we have come to our opinion of what constitutes a good horse; one that is strong and correct in feet and legs; one that has the most athletic slope of shoulder; one that has a long hip and good hind leg to enable the horse to move and get up out of the dirt; one that is quick-footed, and most importantly, one with the best attitude to be a show champion, a skilled rope horse, a hard working ranch horse, or a family companion.

I believe we know what we want to produce; we know what it took to get here, and how important it is to take a path right down the middle avoiding the extremes, that require confirmation compromises, always striving to produce the ideal sound usable horse.

It is our belief that one should never compromise for financial return. Always be willing to sacrifice for the things you know are right, and don’t be swayed by political pressure.
